East Lancaster Avenue Reconstruction
The city of Fort Worth is partnering with the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) and Trinity Metro to advance four regionally significant projects in the city limits. One of those is East Lancaster Avenue, which is a TXDOT-owned roadway. East Lancaster Avenue will be reconstructed from downtown to Dottie Lynn Parkway in the years ahead, which should provide not only an improved roadway, but economic development opportunities.

East Lancaster Traffic Signal Control Cabinets: A Public Art Project Commissioned by the City of For Worth
This project was conceived as part of the East Lancaster Public Art Plan. 14 Artworks were selected from 12 local artists. The artwork was placed on traffic control cabinets on East Lancaster Ave from Pine Street to Sandy Lane. Check out the video below for more information. Reby Cary Youth Library Turning Five Years Old
Programming at Reby Cary serves kids from newborn to 18 years old. The library offers a safe space for socialization and literacy skills through story times and other activities. It continues to be discovered by people across the metroplex. Library officials say it is the library they didn’t know they needed.
